Objective: To investigate clinical characteristics and prognosis factors of children systemic rheumatoid arthritis in order to raise awareness on children systemic rheumatoid arthritis.
Methods: statistics and analysis
relevant information of 21 patients with children systemic rheumatoid arthritis.
Results: methotrexate treatment is important for complete remission of children rheumatoid arthritis; elevated C-reactive protein and platelet levels are not conducive to
disease remission. Younger children and female patients have higher long-term disability rate.
Conclusion: Children systemic rheumatoid arthritis has poor prognosis. There is a
higher mortality & morbidity in patients with recurrent disease for over 5 years. Early treatment, including joint programs, including methotrexate, shortening
glucocorticoid treatments and reducing dosage, monitoring various infections, is important in order to improve the prognosis.
